Availability, rent and applying
Do you have a 3-bedroom apartment available right now?
Call or text (208) 390-5148 and we’ll tell you what’s open and when. We don’t post a live vacancy count, because it would be out of date the day someone signs a lease.
How do I apply for an apartment at Clover Creek Heights?
Call or text and tell us when you’d like to move in. We’ll set up a time for you to see the apartment and get you an application. There’s no leasing office and no call center — you’ll be dealing with the owners directly.
How much is rent?
Call (208) 390-5148 for the current rent on a three-bedroom, two-bath apartment, along with the deposit and what’s included.
Can I see the apartment before I apply?
Yes, and we’d rather you did. Call ahead and we’ll meet you there and walk you through it.
The three-bedroom apartments
How many bedrooms and bathrooms do the apartments have?
Every apartment at Clover Creek Heights has three bedrooms and two bathrooms in about 1,200 square feet. It’s the only floor plan we rent, so there is no smaller unit to be upsold from.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. There’s a $500 pet deposit — call and tell us about your pet before you apply. Assistance animals for residents with disabilities are not pets, and pet rules and fees don’t apply to them.
Which utilities are included in the rent?
Water and sewer are included. You set up power and gas in your own name.
How long is the lease?
Twelve months.
Is there a washer and dryer?
Each apartment has washer and dryer hookups, so bring your own machines.
Where do I park?
There’s an open parking lot at the buildings. Spaces aren’t assigned.
Where can I store things that won’t fit in the apartment?
Our sister business, Paris Creek Storage, rents drive-up storage units and RV and boat storage about ten minutes away in Paris, Idaho. Handy for the trailer, the snowmobiles, or the boxes you haven’t unpacked yet.
Montpelier and the valley
Where is Clover Creek Heights?
At 820 and 830 Jackson Street in Montpelier, Idaho — two fourplexes, eight apartments in all. Montpelier is the largest town in Bear Lake County, on U.S. Highways 89 and 30. Downtown, the grocery store, the schools and Bear Lake Memorial Hospital are all a few minutes away by car.
How far is Montpelier from Bear Lake?
About twenty miles to the north shore of Bear Lake, and roughly half an hour to Garden City, Utah, on the south end. Close enough for an evening on the water, far enough to miss the summer traffic.
Which school district is Montpelier in?
Bear Lake School District #33. Bear Lake High School is in Montpelier. Check with the district for school boundaries and bus routes for our address.
What is winter like in Montpelier?
Long and cold — Montpelier sits at close to 6,000 feet. Plan on snow from November into April, a vehicle that can handle it, and a place to put the summer gear while it’s out.
